Good morning, Headmistress, teachers and fellow schoolmates! I’m Tiffany Lai賴芷慧. I’m Tracy Ho何宇晴. We’re from 3B.
Today we want to introduce the book called ‘School Bus Accident’. It’s about a naughty boy. He’s Sam. One day, he sits on the school bus. His classmate, Henry and the bus driver ask him to fasten his seatbelt but he does not listen. He thinks it’s stupid to wear it.
Sam is naughty. He moves about in the bus. Then the bus turns around a corner. Suddenly, a girl comes out. She is playing with a ball. The bus stops close to the girl. Sam flies through the air because he doesn’t wear the seatbelt. He hits a handrail and hurts his arm. He cries and cries. The bus driver calls the police. The ambulance takes Sam to hospital. Sam’s arm is broken. The doctor gives him a plaster cast. Yet, Sam asks the doctor to give him a seatbelt.
We like the story because it’s interesting. Sam is naughty. He moves around on the bus and he does not wear a seatbelt. When he hurts in the accident, he knows that the seatbelt is very important for him. That’s why he asks the doctor for a seatbelt. Yet, it’s too late!
This story teaches us a lesson. We should fasten the seatbelt and sit properly on the bus. It’s not stupid to do so. If you can do it, you’re very clever indeed. When you sit on the bus next time, you know what you have to do. Right? That’s the end of our sharing. Thank you!
