Good morning! Headmistress, all the teachers and fellow schoolmates. I am Lucy何璐瑤. I am Yoyo冼碧瑤. We are from class 5E. Today, we would like to introduce you a story book called ‘Winnie the Witch’, written by Korky Paul and Valerie Thomas.

Lucy:     Winnie the witch lived in a black house in the forest. It had black carpets, black chair, a black bed with black sheets and black pictures on the walls. It even had a black bath

Yoyo:     She lived with her cat. The cat was also black. And that is how the trouble began. Winnie just couldn’t see him. When Wilbur sat on a chair with his eyes open, Winnie could see him. She could see his eyes anyway. But when Wilbur closed his eyes and went to sleep, Winnie couldn’t see him at all. So she sat on him.

Lucy:     Moreover, Wilbur sat on the carpet with his eyes closed and went to sleep, Winnie couldn’t see him so she tripped over him.

Yoyo:     One day, she tripped over Wilbur and had a nasty fall. She decided to use a little magic to change Wilbur into a green cat. Then she could see him inside the house. However, she still couldn’t see him when Wilbur was outside in the grass. One day, she tripped over Wilbur again and fell into a rose bush. She was angry this time and waved and wand 5 times to change Wilbur into a colourful cat.

Lucy:     Now Winnie could see Wilbur everywhere, but Wilbur looked funny and he climbed up the top of the tallest tree to hide. He was miserable. He was not willing to come down because even the birds laughed at him. Winnie was worried. What will happen in the end? How could Winnie do to solve the problem? How could she get her cat back from the tree?

Yoyo:     This book will give you a lot of pleasure and it tells us that life will be much easier only when you bear in open mind.
