Good morning Headmistress, teachers and fellow classmates. I am Richard林潤泉from 4E. Today I would like to share the book with you is ‘Five Silly Fishermen’. It is written by Roberta.
In the story, five fishermen were happily went fishing. On that day each fishermen had a nice fat fish. Before they went home, only four fishermen counted. They think one of the fishermen has drowned. They cried and cried. They are sad. But a little girl came by and saw his mistake. The fishermen who counted the number of fishermen forgot to count himself. She is clever and told them jump into the river and count for them. One, two, three, four, five, the fishermen jump into the river one by one. ‘Five!’ the fishermen shouted. They found their lost friend. At the end the fishermen gave all their nice fat fish to the little girl. They were very wet and went home. They had no fish for dinner. But they were all together again!
The story is interesting. I learnt a lot of vocabulary from this book. I also learnt friendship is more important than the fish even thought the five fishermen are silly. You can borrow this book from the library. You must enjoy it! Thank you.
