Good morning, Headmistress, teachers and fellow schoolmates! We’re Don Siu 蕭鏊霆and Sam Mak麥正燊 from 4B.
Don: Today we want to introduce the book called ‘Night of the Ninjas. It’s about a mysterious tree house. One summer day, it appeared in the woods of a place called Frog Creek.
Sam: Eight-year-old Jack and his seven-year-old sister, Annie, climbed into the tree house. They found that it was filled with books. They soon discovered that the tree house was magic. It could take them to the places in the books. All they had to do was to point to a picture and wish to be there.
Don: They visited old England, ancient Egypt and a pirate ship. Along the way they discovered that the tree house belonged to a magical librarian. Her name was Morgan. She travelled through time and space, gathering books. Then Jack and Annie started a whole new adventure in old Japan. They met the Ninjas there.
Sam: We like the story because it’s fun. The tree house is so mysterious and the magic in the book is so amazing. We wonder how excited we will be if we can go to anywhere shown on a book by just pointing to a picture and making a wish! We hope that we can travel through time and space to collect books, just like the magical librarian in the story! Then we can introduce more interesting books to you all.That’s the end of our sharing. Thank you.
