Good morning, headmistress, teachers and fellow schoolmates. I’m Jeffy from 4D. Let me tell you a funny story. It’s called Mr and Mrs Hay the Horse.
In the story, Mr and Mrs Hay had a strange habit of wearing a horse costume. This made their children Henry and Henrietta embarrassed because their parents were dressed and behaved so differently from other parents. They were worried about the coming Christmas show at school because other parents would wear their best clothes but Mr and Mrs Hay would wear in their horse costume. On the night of the Christmas show, everyone was disappointed because nobody performed on the stage. But suddenly, a big colorful horse came over to the stage and started singing, dancing, telling jokes. Everyone laughed happily. Some of the kids even wished their parents to dress as horses. Now Henry and Henrietta no longer felt embarrassed for their parents. Instead, they were so proud of Mr and Mrs Hay the Horse!
I really like this story because the ending is very funny and surprising. It also teaches me to be positive all the time even it may not be good at the beginning. So I hope you can enjoy this storybook too. Thank you.
