Good morning, Headmistress, teachers and fellow schoolmates. I am Dominic from 2C. Today, I would like to share a book with you. The title is “The Clever Tortoise”. Do you know which animal is the cleverest? Tiger? No. Lion? No. Monkey? No. I will tell you that tortoise is the cleverest in this funny story. One day, the elephant wanted to step on the tortoise. The tortoise said he was as strong as the elephant. The elephant did not believe him. The tortoise let the elephant hold the end of the rope. Then he let the hippo hold the other end of the rope. At last, the rope broke. The elephant thought the tortoise was strong. I think the tortoise use a clever trick to cheat elephant and hippo. Otherwise, he can not live. Mum and Dad tell me we should honest. But sometimes, we tell lies for saving our lives. I enjoy reading and learn from the stories. Thank you.
