Good morning, headmistress, teachers and fellow schoolmates. I am Amy Lui of Class 4E.Do you like mice? I think many of us are scared of them because they are dirty. But today I want to tell you all a story about a good little mouse and a lion. The book is called, “The Lion and the Mouse”, which is one of Aesop’s fables.

A lion was sleeping in a jungle. A mouse started playing on it.The lion heard the noise and woke up from his sleep. It caught the mouse angrily and wanted to eat the mouse. The mouse begged the lion to leave it off and promised to do the lion a good turn in the future to repay his kindness. The lion laughed and let the mouse off. One day the lion was caught in a net spread by a hunter. It tried to escape but he could not. The mouse heard the lion's roaring and came there. It cut the net with its teeth. The lion escaped and thanked the mouse.

I like this story because I learn a lesson which is little friends may prove to be great friends; even the strong sometimes need the friendship of the weak. That is the end of my sharing. I hope you will like this book, thank you!

張校長、各位老師、各位同學，大家好！我是3A班劉祖曦。我今天和大家介紹一本書，名叫《搗蛋代數A》。這本書有十八個小故事，我最喜歡的是第一個故事，所以和大家一起分享。

一天深夜，數城裏面突然出現一個黑影。這個黑影，拖住一條微微上翹的尾巴，在城裏面有所行動。

第二天早上，城裏開始嘈吵起來！有一個人叫數五，他說他有一袋糧食給人偷了；有一個人說他的母雞不見了；負三分之一說他的兩瓶酒不翼而飛。這個黑影是誰！他就是代數A。他只不過和城裏面的居民開了個小玩笑。這本書可以讓我很輕鬆的學到怎樣用代數，真的十分有趣，希望大家會喜歡！謝謝各位。

Good morning Headmistress, teachers and fellow classmates. I am Yoyo from 4D. Today I would like to share a story book with you. It is ‘Traffic Light Sandwich’. In the story, two aliens, Felix and Flora, crash-land in Hong Kong. While they are in Hong Kong they go on a journey to find a sandwich called ‘the traffic-light sandwich’. At the end of the story, they finally find the sandwich. In the story there is a detailed description of how to make the sandwich.

I learn a lot of words and know which food can make me healthy. I want to show you something. I follow the steps, see! I make my own ‘traffic light sandwich’. My sandwich is very healthy. It is made of tomato, lettuce and cheese. I want to share with my Mum. Do you want to make your sandwich? You can borrow this book from the library. You must have fun from it. Thank you!

2013.04.15-4E莊焌煒推介中國古代神話

張校長、各位老師、各位同學，大家好！我是4E班的莊焌煒。我今天要分享的圖書是《中國古代神話故事》。這裏有一個關於孝順的故事。故事大概是說：古時候，有一家人，父母生了四個兒子，他們各有所長。可是，他們的母親不幸病了，總是醫不好。後來他們找了一位大夫來醫治母親的病，大夫說只有吃了天上的雷公肉才能治好她。於是四兄弟同心協力去找雷公，可是他們當然敵不過雷公。然而他們孝順的精神卻感動了雷公，於是雷公便給了他們一塊肉，他們的母親就好了。這個故事告訴我們，要孝順父母，做事情要不怕艱辛，要堅持不懈，正所謂「有志者，事竟成」就是這個道理了。謝謝各位！

  Good morning, headmistress, teachers and fellow schoolmates! I am Jenny Fu from 4D.

Today I’m going to introduce you a book called “Paige the Pantomime Fairy”. This book is about an angel. Her name is Kristy. She is very beautiful and kind. She has long and brown hair. She has a pair of big eyes too. She loves dancing very much.

One day, when she was going to have her dancing lesson, she was caught by a bad man. The man kept her in a dark room. He did not give her any food. Kristy was very upset. Her parents were very worried. One evening when the bad man was sleeping, Kristy’s angel friends saved her. They took her back to her home. Kristy’s parents were very happy to see her again. Kristy joined her dancing class again and gave good shows very often. The bad man was arrested by police.

I like this book because I love dancing too. It is an amazing hobby. I can express someone’s feeling through different beautiful movements. Hope you’d like my sharing. Thanks.

張校長、各位老師、各位同學，大家好！我是4D班吳玉瑩，我今天要跟大家分享的書是《小故事大道理之動物故事》。

這本書有102個故事，都是以寓言的方式來表達的。這些故事依據不同動物的特色和生活習性，將他們轉換為故事主角，並以幽默、有趣的敍述手法，讓我們理解故事中要傳達的意義。

在這102個故事中，其中有一個名叫《喜鵲老師》。這個故事是說：許多鳥兒來向喜鵲請教怎樣做巢，但是牠們既懶惰又沒有耐性，結果做巢總是做不好。這個故事教導我們：學習要專心、勤力和有耐性，還要留心聽老師講解，切勿急躁，學習才有成效。

另一個故事叫《烏鴉和翠鳥比賽》。故事中說：烏鴉要和翠鳥比賽，牠們各自要要嘴銜着一塊石子，從河的一邊飛到另一邊；烏鴉覺得自己無論身體和力氣都比翠鳥大，認為勝利必定是屬於牠的，於是便驕傲起來，結果，一不小心，嘴裏銜着的石子便掉到河裏，而翠鳥亦獲得了勝利。這個故事是教導我們：驕兵必敗的道理。

其實《小故事大道理》這套書共有四冊，包括：童年故事、成功故事、動物故事，以及真情故事，希望大家喜歡。謝謝各位！

Kitty: Dodo, can you spell the word “study”?

Dodo:    Yes, of course. S-T-U-D-Y. Why did you ask me this question?

Kitty: Because today I would like to introduce this book to all of you! It’s called “The Spelling Bee”.

Dodo:    Oh! I knew this book. It’s about 2 good friends, Joe and Ken.

Kitty: Joe wasn’t good at spelling, but he worked very hard at night. He wants to get 100 marks in the test.

Dodo:    But for Ken, he thought he was clever and did not study. At the end, he gets 0 mark for the test.

Kitty: So, this story reminds us to work harder for the coming test next week!

Kitty & Dodo:   Wish all of you can get 100 marks in the tests next week.

這本書收錄十六則安徒生的童話。除了精采的故事外，並附注解或延伸資料，讓我們吸取更多常識。這本更可我們感受事物的真、善、美，與及心靈的成長。我看了這本書後，最令我印象最深刻的是《園丁和主人》的故事。因為那個園丁對主人十分忠心。我希望同學們看過後也可以學習園丁那樣忠誠。謝謝各位！

2013.03.08-4A麥珈銘推介The Magic School Bus Takes a Moonwalk

Good morning headmistress, teachers and schoolmates, I am Derrick, from P4A.Today I would like to introduce you this wonderful book “Magic School Bus Takes a Moonwalk”.

It’s an exciting adventure story about Ms Frizzle’s class traveling to the moon. And the most important thing is that, Phoebe’s dad goes together with the children. He was a boring old man. Do you think he will enjoy the adventure? They learn many things about the moon. For example, moonlight, gravity and crater. Finally, they have to go home. Phoebe’s dad found that the trip and Magic School Bus was really amusing.

I like this book very much because it is interesting. Let’s take off with Ms Frizzle’s class and find out all kinds of moon facts! Thank you.

2013.03.04-4B洪美儀推介勵志小故事60篇

  張校長、副校長、各位老師、各位同學，大家好！我是4B班的洪美儀。我今天向大家分享一本書，叫做《勵志小故事60篇》。這本書有60個勵志小故事，其中我最喜歡的故事叫做《糖果的誘惑》。

  這個故發生在一所幼稚園裏，老師給孩子們每人了一粒糖果，並告訴大家：「你們可以隨時吃掉這粒糖果，但如果誰能等我回來以後才吃那粒糖果，你就可以多分一粒糖果以作獎勵。」說完，老師便離開了。

  時間一分一秒地過去，這粒糖果對孩子們的誘惑也愈來愈大。終於，有一個孩子忍不住了，他剝掉了糖紙，把糖果放進嘴裏，還發出嘖嘖的聲音。受到他的影響，有幾個孩子也忍不住了，紛紛剝開了糖紙，把糖果吃掉。結果，最後只有幾個小孩子能控制着自己，一直等到老師回來，得到獎勵。

  這個故事啟發了我：其實我們每一日都會遇到很多引誘，因此，我們就要學習抗拒誘惑。因為只有懂得拒絕誘惑，再加上足夠的耐性，才可以好像最後拒絕誘惑的子孩子一樣收穫更多。這本書值得推介的地方是：書中共有60個短篇故事可供選擇，而且每個故事都有寓意，真是值得同學細味。希望大家會喜歡這本書，謝謝大家！
