Good morning Headmistress, teachers and fellow schoolmates. I am Jason Tam from 6C . I am Kit Yiu . I am also from 6C . We are both here because we finished reading the same book recently. We both want to share with you this book, “So Few of Me”. This is written by Peter H Reynolds. This book is about a little boy called Leo. He liked doing housework very much. He did a lot of housework every day such as sweeping the floor, washing the dishes and hanging the clothes.

One day, Leo found another boy who was exactly the same as him. That boy loved doing housework too. They did the housework together.  The next day another Leo appeared. Again, they did the housework together. The same thing happened day after day till there were altogether 10 Leos in the house. They finished the housework very quickly. They played together, ate together and did the homework together. They had great fun.

What would happen if there were many of us?

Jason:

It would be exciting. I would ask them to do all the homework for me. I would play computer games all day. I would not have to play childish games with my younger sister. Wow! That sounds amazing. Oh! Stop dreaming, Exam is coming, I will study very hard to get good results.

Kit:

I agree. Though it’s fun to have many of me, I am the only me. No one can be me. I need to be a good boy of my parents, a good student of my teachers. I won’t disappoint my parents and teachers.

校長，副校長，各位老師，各位同學早晨，我是6D班陳咏妍，今天我為大家介紹的圖書是《三十六個孝順故事》，它為上冊和下冊。書裏面其中有一個故事令我特別深刻，故事名稱叫「扇枕溫蓆」。這個故事是說黃香怎樣孝順父親。黃香的母親，在他年幼的時候過世了，父親盡心盡力照顧他。黃香為答謝父親養育之恩，在夏天的時候，他每天都先用扇子扇涼枕蓆，然後才讓父親去睡。冬天的時候，黃香家裏沒有火爐，他就會睡到父親的的牀上，大家不要以為他睡了父親的牀，他只是用自己的身體溫暖被褥，令父親暖暖的入睡，不致着涼。看完這個故事之後，我覺得黃香很孝順，而我跟黃香相比就沒有這麼孝順了。試想想，我們何時替父母扇涼？父母替我們扇涼就多的是。所以我希望同學可以學習黃香的精神，孝順父母和關心父母。而從今天開始，我也要多關心父母，做一個孝順的好孩子。

Good morning, I’m Amanda Lee from 6A, I’d like to introduce a book called Dairy of a Wimpy kid- dog days. It’s written by Jeff Kinney. This book is an interesting story that written in Dairy form. The main character in the story called Greg. He’s an F.1 student in England. He like to spend his summer holiday in front of the TV, playing video games with the curtains closed and lights turned off.

  But his mum has a vision of “Family togetherness” that doesn’t sound not of fun, but one day his day bought a dog home! I like this book because Greg makes me think of the real me. We always do things wrong, but must have someone to correct us. But we have to grow up, we can’t stick with us parents, teachers and friends forever! From now on, let’s take care of our self, inspire our potential. Thank you!

Good morning headmistress, teacher and my fellow schoolmates. I am Leonard Lau from 6A.

Today I want to introduce you a book called the “Amazing Rescues”. This book is about a skydiver is knocked out in the sky before she can open her shute, a girl is sizzed by an allegator and a tollder is faller down in a deep in this book. In Texas 1979, a  girl called Jessica fell into a deep abandoned water well. The rescuers are very brave to rescue her. Finally she was saved.

I think this book is very meaningful, because it tells us a special thing: although we are just citizens, but if we give out a helping hand, we can change somebody life. This is the end of my sharing. Thank you!

余佩雯： 我是六智班的余佩雯。
蔡律琪： 我是六智班的蔡律琪。

余佩雯聚精會神地看書

蔡律琪： 你在看甚麼書呢？好像很好看啊！

余佩雯： 我在看桃默寫的《超時空守護人》

蔡律琪： 這麼巧啊！我也正在看這本書，真的很好看。

余佩雯： 我看的這本書的內容是：在一次意外，令平凡的香港少年成為了神奇的時空旅人。他和來自23世紀的少女一起超越時空，尋找男孩失蹤的妹妹，卻不料捲入歷史的洪流。

蔡律琪： 我這本是說23世紀的女孩和木子博士於23世紀發現異常強烈的歷史亂源，那女孩內心記掛自己與男孩的妹妹相遇卻不告訴男孩之事，不顧被時空特警發的危險，跳躍到21世紀約男孩前往亂源發生地──隨朝。

大家好！我是6A班張文雅，今天要向大家分享一本書，書名：《懶惰鬼的故事》，由小樹苗出版。

故事講述在很久以前，有一個懶人國，懶人國裏住的全是懶漢，最懶的是國王。但懶國王老了，想挑選一個最懶的兒子來繼承王位。他叫了三個兒子比比，誰最懶。

首先，大兒子說他有一次在火爐邊烤火，被火星濺到褲上，褲子燒着了，但他依然懶得動。老二接着說，假如有人用繩子套住他的脖子，把他吊在樹上，就算給他一把寶劍讓他割斷繩子，他也不會動手。小兒子說有一次，他躺在床上仰臉朝天，這時天上下雨了，但他卻懶得連眼皮都不想動。

國王覺得小兒子最懶，所以決定把王位傳給他。有一次，鄰國發兵攻打懶人國。懶人國懶得抵抗，結果滅亡了。

這個故事給我們一個訊息：懶惰是世界上最大的浪費。「人懶事事難，人勤事事易」。大家最近的測驗成績如何呢？有沒有同學因為懶惰而令到自己的成績不理想呢？這個問題值得讓我們去反思。謝謝各位！

Good morning, headmistress, teachers and school mates. I’m Wavely from 4E. Today I would like to share a book with you. The book’s name is ‘Stuart Sets Sail’.

The story is about a tiny little mouse was adopted by a human family. One day, they went to country-side for picnic. The mouse wanted to sail across the lake, but the problems came after him. He met the big fish, turtle and rock. He was brave enough to solve the problems.

After reading the story, I want to share my feeling with you. Although we are children, when we face any problem, we should try our best to solve them, not just ask for help. Thank you!

2011.10.24 4A譚偉華推介 亞洲民間故事

大家好！我是4A班譚偉華，今天要向大家分享一本書，書名：《亞洲民間故事》。這本故事書有27個各地的民間故事所組成。每一個故事都諧趣幽默，各具民俗特色。其中我最喜歡的故事是《八頂帽子》，這個故事來自亞美尼亞。

故事講述一個吝嗇的財主，人家送了一塊羔羊皮，他便拿到裁縫店做一頂帽子，可是他又怕人家騙他，於是問裁縫那塊羔羊皮夠做兩頂帽子吧！裁縫心裏明白這個吝嗇的財主的心理，於是無論財主問他可以做三頂帽子、四頂帽子，甚至八頂帽子都可以。結果，裁縫做了八頂小帽子，僅可以放在手指頭上，財主付了做八頂帽子的工錢，還浪費了一塊羔羊皮，卻連一頂可以用的帽子都沒有，真是得不償失！

我們在閱讀這些故事的同時，可以啟發我們智慧，培養積極、勇敢、樂觀的人生態度、並可以從中學習到寶貴的知識。試想想：我們有沒有像財主那樣貪得無厭呢？如果我們被一些像財主的人無理取鬧，我們能否功成身退呢？這些都是我們值得思考的問題。我認為這是一本值得大家閱讀的好書，希望你們也會喜歡！謝謝各位！
