相信哈利．波特，這個虛構的男孩，能風靡全球，確實有他的魅力。據說當年《哈利波特》第一集出版的時候，出版社並沒有宣傳，而是靠讀者的口碑，一傳十，十傳百，結果要書商再版又再版，引起電影商的垂涎，拍成電影。電影收入更是天文數字。

我從來沒想過看《哈利波特》的圖書，我想：看電影便足夠了，因為我只需花短短一兩個小時，便將一本厚厚的書，繪形繪聲的呈現我面前，可省卻很多時間。結果當我看第四、五、六集電影時，電影將書的內容壓縮、刪減，往往許多情節令我大惑不解：為甚麼鄧不利多會知道佛地魔收藏「分魂器」的地點？鄧不利多懂得「瞬間轉移」？鄧不利多的手為甚麼會變焦黑？那一隻戒指有甚麼玄機？第四集開場時佛地魔藏身的「鬼屋」，究竟是甚麼地方？電影裏頭出現一個又一個的疑問，我亦想知道佛地魔的下場……我便下定決心翻開圖書，豈料，一發不可收拾，我由第一至七集看了一遍又一遍。

第七集分為上下兩冊，大家都會預料哈利和佛地魔必需一戰，主角必然不會死，也不會輸，究竟哈利如何贏佛地魔是最受注目的地方。上冊交代了哈利和他的兩位好朋友，在尋找「分魂器」時怎樣面對逆境和對友情的考驗。這些舖排，賦予哈利「送死」時無比的勇氣。然而哈利「送死」的一幕，真是既緊張又愉快：他的至親陪着他走「送死」的最後一段的路；輕鬆地與鄧不利多相遇，討論佛地魔的生死、自己究竟死了還是未死的問題。最後，哈利與佛地魔無可避免的決戰，雖然哈利「勝券」在握，但書中直到最後一刻，才讓讀者知道他的「勝券」是甚麼。書中一個小角色奈威令我刮目相看，由一個膽小怕事的男孩，到積極參加鳳凰社，成為霍格華茲校內對抗佛地魔的領袖生，在第七集，他更有出人意表的舉動呢。書中結尾，介紹哈利有三名子女，名字相當有意思，父子的對話更是十分有趣，希望大家留意一下啦！

校長、各位老師、各位同學，大家好！我是3A班的吳媚，我今天要介紹的圖書是《不一樣的天空》，作者是沈祖堯醫生。這本書是關於03年香港發生的一件大事，就是非典型肺炎，亦即是SARS(沙士)。當時，神秘病毒導致人命傷亡的數字不斷上升，令學校停課、市面一片蕭條。書中記述了病人和病魔搏鬥時的勇敢表現、醫護人員自願到隔離病房工作的無私奉獻、市民的合作和守紀律。經過這場疫症之後，大家都珍惜所擁有的，好像日本，在311大地震，人民一瞬間就失去了親人和朋友，我們不知道何時會有天災人禍，我們要積極面對人生，珍惜每一天，更加關愛我們的親人和朋友。希望大家會喜歡這本書，謝謝各位！

Good morning headmistress, teachers and schoolmates, I am Marie Lam (林樂蓉)in 4D. Today, I am going to recommend you a funny book called “Mr. Happy”. It is written by Roger Hargreaves.

This is a story about Mr. Happy. He was fat, round and happy. He lives in Happyland. It is a happy place where you can see smiling faces all around. Not only people, all the animals are happy in Happyland. If you have never seen a mouse smile, or a cat, or a dog, or even a worm, go to Happyland. One day, Mr. Happy met a person who looked like himself, but he did not look happy at all. This person is Mr. Miserable. Mr. Happy wanted to make him happy. He asked Mr. Miserable to stay in his house. Soon, Mr. Miserable started to be happy. His mouth stopped turning down, but turning up.

So, dear schoolmates, borrow this book from the library and have fun! Do you want to be happy everyday? Very easy! Follow Mr. Happy and Mr. Miserable, Just turn your mouth up and say ‘cheese’! Thank you!

大家好！我是4C班的林巧儀。不知道大家要用多少時間看完一個小故事呢？我今天想跟大家介紹一本圖書，書裏面的故事只要三分鐘就看完了，而且書中有十分精美的圖畫，這本書名叫《三分鐘小故事》，由兒童教育出版社出版。此書共有68個小故事，每個故事也有一個教訓，而我今次想同大家分享一個十分有趣的故事，這個故事叫「小豬的傑作」：有一次，笨笨豬發明了一個發明用品，他的主人誇獎他很能幹。但是他最後卻被自己的發明品打屁股……究竟發生甚麼事呢？大家不妨自己看書找出答案啦！謝謝各位！

Good morning Headmistress, teachers and fellow schoolmates. I am Marcus Ma from P.4A. Today I would like to introduce a book called “Mrs. Lather’s Laundry”. The author is Allan Ahlberg, and it is published by Puffins books.

The story is about Mrs. Lather’s Laundry. First, she hates to wash socks. Then, she hates vests, pairs of pants, shirts, dresses, table-clothes……etc. All the things of laundry she hates. So the customers have nothing to give the laundry to wash. One day, a customer brings a baby to Mrs. Lather. At the beginning, she loves the baby, and people bring their babies to Mrs. Lather. But few hours later, she hates to wash babies. She changes her minds time by time. At last, she has nothing to wash, so the shop closes at the end. This book is about laundry, but it is not about washing clothes. Can you guess what it washes?

          Good morning, headmistress, teachers and fellow schoolmates. I’m Stellabelle Chan from Class 5E. My English teacher is Miss Leung. Today I would like to introduce a book called “The Ghost Teacher”, by Peter Karangh.

          This book is about a school, Sunny Bank School. It is a very strange school. There was a ‘Ghost Teacher’, her name was Miss Shade.

          One day, she was outside Class 3 classroom. The students were very naughty. They did not listen to the teacher. They played and talked. Miss Shade decided to play tricks on Class 3. She flew into the classroom and made strange noise.

          She then told them a ghost story. The students were scared. What happened at the end? Wow! They became good students! I love this story very much because it is very interesting and frightening. I hope you would like my presentation, thanks!
