Let me share a book with you. It’s
called “The Jewel in the Hub”.
In the story, Wilf is chosen to go
on a dangerous mission to recover the Hub, a crucial part of the Time Web that
acts a little like a computer’s hard drive. He travels back in time to 15th
Century Florence, where he meets a young Leonardo da Vinci. Leonardo helps Wilf
to find the Hub, but it won’t work without jewel that is missing from its
centre. Together, they work out the riddle to locate the jewel, and rescue the
Hub just before the Virans get hold of it!
I really like this soty because the
ending is very funny ans surprising. It also teaches me two inventions that
Leonardo helped develop – the crane and the parachute. So I hope you can enjoy
this storybook too.
