Good morning, headmistress, teachers and schoolmates. I am Angie Dai of class 5A. Today I would like to introduce all of you a book called “The Magic School Bus – Gets Baked in a Cake”. It is written by Joanna Cole. The illustrator is Bruce Degen.
The story was a wonderful adventure. It happened in a school. It was the Chemistry teacher, Miss Frizzle’s birthday. The children wanted to hold a party for her. Unfortunately, they forgot to make the birthday cake. Just then Miss Frizzle would take them to a bakery factory for a visit. They went there by school bus.
When they arrived at the bakery factory, the children and the bus suddenly shrank. They became very small. It was magic. They were sent to bake with a cake! What would they do? What happened to them at last? I like this book because it is funny and exciting. I learn many things about chemicals from the story. Moreover, the drawings are wonderful and colorful. I hope you would like this book. Thank you!
