Good morning headmistress, teachers and schoolmates, I am Bobby Lee form 5C. Today I would like to introduce you a book called “Dutch Adventure”.

Biff and Chip had an exiting adventure of cheese! They had got a magic key and it took them to Holland. They helped a dam stop bursting and caught a diamond thief—all thanks to some Dutch cheese. I like this book because it is very interesting and exciting. Also the pictures are very funny too! Hope you would like this book. Thank you!

關穎喬、崔雅姿：張校長、副校長、各位老師、各位同學，大家好！我是5E班的關穎喬，我是5E班的崔雅姿。

崔雅姿：穎喬，你手中拿着甚麼書？

關穎喬：這本書《小故事大道理》，這本書共記述了102個古今名人的成功故事。

崔雅姿：你可不可以說來給大家聽聽。

關穎喬：好啊！這本書有很多故事很看，其中我最喜歡的故事是講述白衣天使南丁格爾的事迹。南丁格爾在意大利出生，從小受到良子教育，在當時護士地位低微，她仍毅然選擇了當護士的行業，成為優秀的護士。她願意以自己一生來從事護士行業為人服務，亦不怕辛苦。她還在倫敦創辦了第一所護士學校，大大的推動了世界各地的護理工作和護士教育事業的發展。她是一個偉大的人物。

崔雅姿：你有甚麼值得向同學推介的呢！

關穎喬：這本書精選了從古到今很多著名的成功人士的事迹，我可以從中學習名人的優點。除了南丁格爾的堅毅外，我還可以學習阿貝爾努力不懈的精神、沈括的永不放棄，還有李時的不怕困難，他們都值得我們學習。

崔雅姿、關穎喬：希望大家喜歡這本書，可以從中領悟成功的道理，謝謝各位！

 

2013.01.25-5B何思穎 鄭翠瑩 推介 Frog in Love

Rainie, Gigi: Good morning! Headmistress, all the teachers and fellow schoolmates! I’m Rainie Ho. I am Gigi Cheng. We are from Class 5B. Today, we would like to introduce you a story book called “Frog in Love”.

Rainie :    Frog is worried about his health: his heart beats too fast. He goes to ask his friends. One of his friends, Hare, says he must be in love.

Gigi : Frog is happy because he knows that he is in love with Lady Duck. But another friend, Piglet says, “A frog can’t be in love with a duck” because they are in different colours—Frog is green and Duck is white. But Frog did not let that bother him.

Rainie   :   He keeps drawing pictures and sending flowers to Lady Duck day after day. But he is too shy to face her. He just puts them on her dpprstep and runs away. Duck does not know who sends her the presents. Frog is too shy to tell her.

Gigi   :   in order to show Duck he loves her, Frog decides to break the world high jump record. He starts dangerous training and he hurts himself. Duck knows that Frog is in love with her. She takes good care of Frog with tender loving care. What will happen in the end? Will they love each other dearly? This book is really interesting. It tells us that if you truly love someone, just tell him or her. You have no need to hide.

Rainie   :   On the other hand, we also learn one important thing. That is “Love knows no boundaries”.

莊瑞鴻、凌源彬：  張校長、副校長、各位老師、各位同學，大家好！我們是5D班的代表，莊瑞鴻和凌源彬。

莊瑞鴻： 我們今天要介紹的這一套兩冊的《成語故事100個》。

凌源彬： 這套書分成《聰明篇》和《智慧篇》。

莊瑞鴻： 我們為大家介紹其中一個故事吧！這個故事叫《兩敗俱傷》。

凌源彬： 從前，山裏有兩隻老虎，牠們為了爭奪一具屍體廝殺起來，正當牠們打得激烈的時候，一個叫卞莊子的人看見了，他忙拔出寶劍，想衝上去殺老虎。他的同伴拉住了他，說道：「老虎是很愛吃死屍的，牠們會為一具屍體而不顧一切地搏鬥。到最後，總有一隻比較弱的被咬死，而那隻較強的也會受重傷，再也無力反抗了。你到那時候再上去，不必費多大的力氣就能輕易打敗老虎了。

莊瑞鴻： 卞莊子聽了，覺得很有道理，便靜靜地躲在一旁看兩隻老虎搏鬥。果然沒多久，其中的一隻老虎就被對方咬死了，另一隻也受了傷，趴在地上喘着粗氣。卡莊子迅速衝上去，一劍就刺進了老虎的要害。老虎根本無力反抗，一命嗚呼了。兩隻老虎，兩敗俱傷，自然就是獵人得利啦！

凌源彬： 中國成語是很有趣的，也教導我們許多做人處事的道理。

2013.01.11-5A陳紫情推介Diary of Wimpy kid

   Good morning everyone. I’m Josie from 5A. Today I’m going to introduce a book to you all. It is called “Diary of a Wimpy kid”. It is about a kid called Wimpy. He is 12 years old. He is sometimes an emotional boy. One summer, he did a couple of things such as joining a reading club and swimming. He quite enjoyed himself. However, he did have some terrible experience. While he was celebrating his birthday, his birthday was eaten by a dog. He also got some cash cheques as birthday present from his anut. He wanted to save the money for future use. Unfortunately, his mother spent all his money. He was very upset. Oh! Poor Wimpy. He didn’t have a happy 12. I hope he can have a happy 13, 14, 15 and perhaps happiness always.

   I like this book because the content is funny. Wimpy is a healthy boy. He likes reading, playing sports and saving money. Also I can learn a lot of new words from this book. I hope you will enjoy reading this book too. Thank you.
